Premium quality for docking stations

This high-quality, ideally compact device. I don't understand why anyone would write a negative review about the number or type of ports. Not that the number or type of ports is surprising. If it doesn't meet your needs, you bought the wrong product. This is not a problem with the product, especially in this case as it is very easy to predict if there are enough ports for your workflow.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Modern

The micro SD slot failed within seconds.

I bought this device based on the reviews and didn't mind spending a few euros more for the expected quality. When connecting to my Macbook Pro, I inserted the micro SD card from my GoPro and it wouldn't stay pressed. The map kept popping up. Aggravating. So it goes back. As I had to wait a week for the first delivery and now I need a working device I bought another docking station at half price which was delivered the next day.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Doubtful

A great accessory for any iPad with a USB-C port

This device was designed for the iPad 2020 and has performed well so far. It is very portable and easily fits into an iPad case along with cables and charger. Two things to note: what ports it has and the fact that it's USB 3.2 Gen 2, which will deliver great speeds with external drives that can match the throughput. Build quality is solid as expected and it comes with a cable to connect to a computer or iPad. I highly recommend people to read the full description of the Revain page as itโ€ฆ

Works fine with some limitations

This works fine on my 2020 mbp. It's small and has a very stable connection, displays 4k videos with no issues, everything I wanted. 4k for all models and connection types (Displayport vs HDMI) - the older the device, the less it is supported there. So I still use the C to DP connector for video. It's a bummer, but the PD functionality is good, everything else in the dock works great, and true 60Hz 4k is tricky, so I'm not taking a star off this one. If you have an older device, be sure toโ€ฆ

I have a laptop with a standard latest generation Intel chipset. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 over USB-C with the ANX7411 controller. It is configured to dual boot Windows and Linux. I also have two AOC 2790VQ monitors with 4K resolution, HDMI and DisplayPort. All new equipment, all bought new this year (monitors have been on the market for a few years). With monitors plugged directly into the laptop and one using a USB-C to DP converter, everything works fine on both Windows 10 and Windows 10โ€ฆ

THIS IS THE HUB YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

* Mac M1 users read * Soho Hub is equipped with HDMI 2.0b, Display Port 1.4 and USB-A with a bandwidth of 10 Gbps. Simply put, this hub has updated ports that I couldn't find anywhere else, including Thunderbolt docks. I came to this conclusion after looking at hubs offered by Anker, Ravpower, and even the Caldigit TS3+ docking station for several hours. This is a great mobile solution for Mac M1 users PLUS the current solution for running multiple displays on the M1 involves the use ofโ€ฆ

Needs work, not enough ports, damaged external hard drives

This product got good reviews on blogs and youtube and was a little cheaper than CalDigit's TS3 hub so I bought it. a week and here are my first impressions: 1) Just a little shy on USB-C ports and USB-A ports. I do a lot of weekly backups and duplicate drives so I would appreciate a hub with 2 USB A ports or 2 USB B ports so I can do A/B backups. And so I need to use additional keys and hubs to make volume duplication easier. 2) The SoHo hub is having trouble installing external hard drives. I
