Review on VIAIR 00025 5 in 1 Deflator/Inflator: Ultimate Tool with 25' Extension Coil Hose by Nale Dunn

We have had a Viair tire pump for several years and it is very good. But every few months we spent $29.95 to replace the hose that comes with just the gauge and chuck. The cartridge (which is sticking the tire valve) is a problem as it wears out every few months. It's hard to understand why Viair won't stop putting this junk cartridge on an otherwise good product. UPDATE: A Viair Tech Support representative informed us that replacing the rubber insert (see photo) in the chuck will resolve the issue. Problem. They sent us some and it worked. You will need basic tools to push out the metal pin that holds the cartridge together and then push out again after replacing the piece of rubber. So it's a small problem, but it works.
