Good tool for removing PEX ferrules
I had a couple of 1/2" and 3/4" PEX clamps that I wanted to remove to get the connectors (T, elbow and valve connections) - and this tool worked great. The stepped clip, which mimics the action of the original PEX clip tool, makes it easy to remove existing stainless steel clip rings by breaking the top loop (at least that's how I did it - there may be other methods). Be sure to wear safety goggles when using it - bits can fly out at weird angles (testimonial here).
