One of my favorite shoes from the early 80's growing up on adidas superstars and suede cougars. My mom bought me some of these when I was growing up because I loved them so much, but no, they don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, looked sturdier on the bottom, rougher and even those whole outsole was thicker and if you compare their photos to the vintage models, the Nike Swoosh logo on the side of the sneaker looked much better. These newer models look boring and curvy like the ones of the past and the blue or from the past was prettier and also the suede front and back were darker and more faded than the nylon part which gave them a better look and if you have the vintage look closely at models from the side they look boring and ordinary like the old models on the side looked like a sneaky ball k would look from the side only beauty wish they made them like the old days but a nice sneaker nonetheless and please order a nike cortez all half a size larger if they are small, everyone in my house has them, wife, kids and everyone needed half size.
