Perfectly straight! fits bassinet
My biggest concern when I bought this from all the reviews was that it wasn't flat. I bought this a few months before the baby was due, just in case, but luckily it wasn't! This thing is perfectly flat, even at 14 pounds. Can't tell how well a baby will sleep in it since it's not here yet, but I'm happy to say it's nice and even and not too scary to put together.
