That's right, this little one was smaller than expected. As you can see, it's about a palm wide. But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in strength. There are three modes: cold air, warm and intense heat. I set it on high heat in a 275-square-foot living room with a high ceiling and felt a definite difference within ten minutes right next to the heater. I am impressed. I chose this one because it was only 800/400 watts. My last heater was 1500 watts and too powerful for the wiring in my old house. That almost started a fire. Creepy. That's why I downgraded the rating. A little patience is worth not worrying about another power cord failure. One commenter gave this product only one star. She complained about the writing on the top and that the heater worked 30 seconds after it was turned off. The writing at the top is literally an inch wide. Are you really so concerned that the design of your small radiator will be marred by customs warning letters? Considering how dangerous any heater is, these words seem appropriate to me. As for the fact that it runs for 30 seconds after it's turned off, I'd advise the reviewer to read her instruction manual, which clearly states that this is done as a precaution for heat dissipation. All in all a great purchase. Nice design. Small but powerful. A very happy consumer.
