Headphones would be great. if it worked

I originally got this headset from Wal-Mart for about $7. The first problem was the packaging. Can't open this stupid package. You can't cut it, so you have to take a knife to cut the back. If you're not very careful, you can easily cut the wire hiding behind the paper inside the package. But as soon as I took it out of the box, I really liked the headset. I'm hard of hearing so I really like having 2 headphones. I never get headaches like with heavier headphones. The mic worked great and I had no complaints from the person I spoke to. It was comfortable enough to wear for hours. I like all the different connectors that come with it so you can use it on your phone or computer. And it's very nice to have volume and mute controls nearby. The sound wasn't that great. When I connect it to my computer, I have to crank the volume up as much as possible to get a consistently quiet sound. But you get what you pay for, right? I mean for $7 I wouldn't expect it to have great sound quality. UPDATE #1) Unfortunately the headset mic stopped working after a few months so I bought a new one from Revain for about $20. It worked great. exactly a long phone call. Now I only hear noise. UPDATE #2) Okay. I started looking for other headphones. All of them either gave me a headache, or they couldn't be used with my phone, or they only had one handset. So I gritted my teeth and went back to Wal-Mart and bought another one. So far it works great. But it's a cheap product so I don't expect it to last for years.
