The block failed the second time I used it!
When I opened the box and unpacked the device, I found it to be very cheaply constructed. When I plugged in the 120V charging cable, I noticed that the pins on the plug were a little wobbly. It didn't charge from the mains - I unplugged it and one of the prongs stayed in the socket! I was in a hurry to send the package, so I collected the batteries and weighed the package - the device worked perfectly. A week later I had to send another package and the device didn't work at all. It gave an error message and shut down. After many attempts to get it working I gave up.
