No more smelly camper! Just buy it!

This device really makes a difference! We usually get a terrible sewer smell in our RV when driving on the street or parking in the wind. Apparently we don't have enough vents or in the right place or something. I installed it on an existing pipe but I had to cut the pipe because it was next to the stairs and I had to make it low enough that the fin wouldn't touch the stairs. I also made a notch in the fin to easily fit past the ladder handle. It also serves as a wind direction indicator. We've driven Alcan to Montana and back with this little one installed and never got into drains, even in the summer heat. If it ever breaks, another will take its place. I never thought getting rid of that stench could be so easy. When we're parked, it always aligns with the wind so the ventilation moves in the right direction. Very beautiful! The only thing that worries me is our habit of walking through the bushes. We have to be extra careful not to catch him on a low hanging tree. It has been in the camper for almost a year and still spins freely in the slightest breeze. He survived the Alaskan winter without turning over in the cold. Finally we drilled a hole in the fin and attached it to the stair rail to keep it from wearing out on windy days. **** * ****** Update August 2017. 3 years and 2 trips on Alcan and this vent is still spinning in the wind eliminating the RV smell. I thought the plastic might break in the cold winter but it stays put and spins freely. We got through the bushes and low branches of the trees without knocking them down, but the stairs protect them a bit and we try to stay clear of the tougher branches. I made a good product. I hope they don't switch to something cheaper when we finally need a new one.
