The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

a request to the moderators to make a description of the modern version of this mouse, since the Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 (910-001320) has already been discontinued, and the new version of the Logitech Wireless Mouse M705 (910-001950) although similar to its predecessor and has the same index (M705) , but it is very different from it in terms of characteristics, hence the conflicting reviews in this thread.

 for those who are interested in the size - the mouse is much larger than the laptop counterparts: 110x70mm (LxW).

Pros

1. design, materials, 2. ergonomics of button layout, 3. the ability to configure absolutely (!) all buttons (including under win XP, under which, for some mice, the wheel deviation is simply not supported by drivers), 4. omnivorousness of the working surface (except for the mentioned glass and mirror).

Cons

1. the location of the sensor (it will be very unusual for people who are used to laptop mice), 2. fixing the scroll wheel (when it is in flywheel mode, it becomes very sensitive),
