Revain has grouped together reviews for two Bulbrite light strings here. This review is for the "Nostalgic Edison" string. This is an attractive, well-made string of antique-looking lights.SET-UPThe bulbs come individually boxed. I hung the empty string first, then installed the lights. I had to push in fairly hard while rotating the bulbs to get them to screw in. The good news is the bulbs feel pretty solid, and they held up well despite having to be manhandled a bit to get them into the sockets.IN USEThe bulbs look great all lit up, and the warm light they give off, plus the filament design, gives them a really nice antiquey look. The string was brighter than I expected (indoor use). It lights up the room like (approximately) a 75 watt bulb. If you're looking for a festive holiday accent to your room, these may be too bright. They also give off quite a bit of heat. I have a space heater set on low in my room, but I turn it off when these bulbs are on.They seem like a good value at the current price ($30).
