I have used this as a beach bag and gym bag. The biggest plus I've seen is that it has a hard bottom while other bags I've seen both at Revain and in stores are more expensive and don't have a hard bottom so the bags are too flexible. The magnetic clasps are strong enough to keep the bag closed/shape even when I've filled it to the brim with shoes, clothes, water bottle, etc. I managed to fit sneakers, water bottle, flip flops, gym clothes. , toiletries (for the sports shower), cell phone, wallet and keys in this thing and all three buttons are still closed and it's still holding its shape. It's hard to tell from the pictures but it's a neoprene mesh so it's very breathable.
