I bought and used a recent computer model with a USB Type-C connector for power and data. In preparation for owning and using a computer, I was looking for USB-C connectivity and as a result found this Tiergrade USB-C hub solution. I live in a big house, work from home and have two offices, one upstairs and one downstairs. The office on the ground floor is my main workplace with many peripherals (two monitors, wireless keyboard, external hard drives and sound). Upstairs is just a peripheral monitor and wireless keyboard. So I bought two of these hubs and it allows me to connect/disconnect to my computer when moving from one place to another and the appropriate hubs make it seamless. Tiergrade Support Notice I also want to say how pleased I was with it. I started using two old monitors on the ground floor while waiting for new monitors from Hewlett Packard to arrive. It was a bit shaky on older monitors. I won't go into detail. Just wobbly. I contacted Tiergrade via email and they responded very quickly, apologizing for the inconvenience and helping me troubleshoot older monitors. They were happy to know that I had new monitors on the way and agreed to stand by if I needed further assistance, assuring me that even if they replaced or shipped the hubs back the situation would be resolved to my satisfaction would have to make a refund. I am very happy with this technology.
