My guinea pig loves this bed and has used it every day since I got it. She used to hide in her little house most of the day, and now I see her in my bed all day! Thing is a little tricky to clean but now that I have a routine it's not that bad. I live on the 3rd floor in an apartment so I don't have access to an outside hose or anything so I have to put on gloves and grab an empty small bathroom sized garage glass. I throw off all the bedding and shake off the poo, throw it in the trash and put it in the tub. I pour hot water on with some washing powder, then I dip wearing gloves and wring it out for a few minutes, then slowly pour it all down the drain, and I don't rush it because I don't want to. I don't want the water to splash all over the place and leave guinea pig hair in the tub, so pouring it slowly down the drain works well. Then I refill the garage tank with hot water and do it a second time and then after the second time the water runs clearer and I squeeze it out as much as possible and then just throw it in the washing machine on hot. with towels and tumble dry it and it will be brand new again.
