The rose gold tone has faded.

I don't wear my watch to work every day on rare occasions but the underside of the watch rubbing against the surface of the rose gold paint has faded to silver now and only after half a dozen uses. I work in an office so it's not subject to harsh conditions, but it happened anyway. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone experienced the same as me? Please advise. Mahalos! =o)
