I would give these a 5-star rating, but it's too easy to plug them in backwards and think that they don't work. All of the replacement bulbs that I have bought (except for these) can only be connected one way. These will fit no matter which way you you flip the connector, but they only work in one orientation. It's been a year since I installed these and they are still working without issue. A great product and value compared to other LED headlights that I have used in the past. I have these installed on my 2014 Chevrolet Volt. In the instructions for these headlights they suggest drilling a hole in the headlight port cap for ventilation, I did not do this and have not had any issues with overheating or bulb lifespan.

I like the color and brightness of the bulbs, but the bulbs are pretty loose in the light fixture. I put these in the fog lamps on a 2017 Ram 1500. I used the rubber washer from the original lights and that helped a little, but they’re still looser than they should be. I’ll likely add something else to tighten up the light in the housing. Before I even opened the box I could tell they were a return. They had been shoved in the box, red tips broken off and nothing inside with the bulbs. When they were returned they obviously weren't even checked or were just thrown back in the inventory.Got an exchange and the second set was the same. I installed these in aftermarket reflector style headlights on a 1999 Dodge Ram. (not projector style headlights) They have low beams and high beams. I removed them once and reinstalled them to ensure that the 2 sides where the actual LED chips are located are pointing side to side instead of up and down. Anyway, the plastic section directly around the red rubber O-ring is removable from the device. Yes, twist it hard and REMOVE it before trying to install the retainer. Bulbs come in a nice package, to protect them during shipping. I installed these today on my 2015 Volvo VNL semi truck. They appear to be more of a white color than the old yellowish halogen bulbs. I ordered these for a 1st gen Ranger that uses 9004 bulbs. Upon initial install they were very bright but the light was incredibly scattered w/ no difference between high and low beam. These lights snap into plastic adapters that then keyed into the factory headlight housings. I found the Problem to be the light was in the adapter upside down. Unsnap the plastic adapter from the aluminum light, rotate 180 degrees and reassemble. Then insert assembly into the housing and good to go.Now to see…

Clean white light in color, not too cool of a color temperature. (I didn't want blue lights).
