i originally gave these four or five stars for the initial quality of the product and packaging, the ease of installation (for most vehicles), and the incredible brightness and color quality. i had said the one drawback is having the cable come out of the side of the light instead of straight out the back. this required me to modify (grinding notches) in my locking rings to make them work. what shouldve taken <5 minutes to install took over an hour, but i will still happy for the price and couldnt really complain.well, thats now changed. two weeks in the fan cap is loose on one headlight (which i can at least fix although i shouldn't have to), but the fan cap just fell clean off my driver side light nowhere to be found. that caused the gasket on the cable to block the fan, and now the fan wont spin probably due to a burnt out motor. luckily its winter here now so im not too worried about burning them up but once summer comes it will definitely go without cooling.UPDATE: i should have followed the instructions that asked to email them with any issues before leaving a negative comment. they saw my comment and emailed me that they would send a replacement bulb. instead, they sent a whole new kit with a pair, so i now have an extra bulb. thats excellent customer service.
