I had a serious sprain and hated dressing with a traditional ACE cast and they just didn't give me the support I needed. When the doctor told me I would need at least another 6 weeks of wearing ACKKK daily, I started looking for something light and supportive. I love this bracket. I have one set that I wear to the gym and one set for everyday use. The handle inside prevents it from moving and losing grip. The material is thick enough to provide support but thin enough to be worn under most shoes. I liked it so much I bought the kit for my son who has constant trouble rolling his ankles due to old skateboarding injuries. He actually wears it! I had bought him several types and he never wore them because they were uncomfortable for shoes, slipped, or were too difficult to put on.
