I got this for my boyfriend to use professionally. It looks great - sleek but understated. You might want to know that it's also not shiny (I thought the material looked a bit shiny in the picture, but it's more muted and looks as high quality as it is; very professional). Also very functional and very well-constructed. It's not very big, but that's an asset since it reduces bulk while there's enough room for everything on the daily commute. Due to the ample protective cushioning provided in the computer sleeve, the main compartment has only enough room for a laptop and some papers, thin notebooks, or other flat things. The other good-size pockets can fit cords/mouse (the cord pocket at the bottom is quite cool and useful), and a handful of smaller items like phone, pens and wallet. If you carry a lunch, it might not fit in here unless it was very flat and/or you didn't carry papers/notebooks. Boyfriend thinks the backpack is ideal for work -- though he will use a bigger one for when he needs to carry more like his gym stuff, or a smaller satchel-size one when he doesn't need his laptop. My dad thinks it looks great too. And very protective for your computer.
