Review on 💨 Boosted Performance Buffalo DriveStation Axis Velocity External Hard Drive - 3TB Capacity by Jeff Alradwan

I've been using this as an external hard drive for my PS4 for about a year and it has generally worked well during that time. Sometimes it wouldn't boot up fast enough when the PS4 was turned on, and other times it wouldn't turn itself off when the PS4 went to sleep - I'm not sure if the Buffalo or PS4 case is to blame is. for these quirks. About a year later, it started shutting down very noisily, and shortly after, it failed completely. The hard drive no longer starts. The light flashes when turned on, but the error codes for the case aren't listed on their website or in the manuals for that particular device. The only entry in the documentation says "Contact Support" and their support was useless. The hard drive's warranty has (of course) just expired, so it's a total loss. Proceed with caution and/or back up frequently. Almost no documentation and poor support. Not recommended.
