First of all, these stools are heavy! We ordered two which were sent in a box. Must be 50 pounds! Poor courier! I love style! They are functional and perfect for our use. We use them as small bedside tables next to two chairs in the living room. Perfect for a cup of coffee, a couple of glasses etc. I wish there was a choice of stain for the seat. The stain is a little reddish compared to the rest of the furniture. Our only complaint is that the directions were very difficult to see and only pictures, no written instructions. I took all the parts out of the bag and compared them to the pictures and made notes for the instructions before we assembled the first stool. After we finished the first one, the next one was easy!
