updated: left earbud died after 1.5 months

Update 09/21/2019 I have continued to use the right earbud occasionally for phone calls. it fell apart (see picture) - quality is mostly abysmal - both headphones died after less than 2 months of use. Update 2019.09.10 left earbud started disconnecting (not like bluetooth) and then stopped making noise altogether. still connecting and glowing blue (and stopping when music is playing) but no sound. - original review - man - all the hype around it - was perfect for the sound - for $80 you get really good sounding true wireless headphones - these rival my wired shure se215 in terms of clarity when listening to almost any music (and even ASMR videos :D), the battery life is excellent and the body, while not small, is lightweight and portable. Ergonomics and suitability for everyday use. I'm lucky that my ear shape works with them so I can wear them for hours without pain (unlike others - see other reviews) - but they're just too big and the buttons too hard to press. If you want to use the earbuds yourself to control music/take a call/etc, end up inserting them deep into your ear canal to hold the button down. That hurts! I replaced the original attachments with TWS misods and it definitely caused less pain, but it's still not acceptable for actual use. I cringe when I have to press one of those buttons. I'm not replacing them - I'm working on these issues because I really like the sound. but they were not what I had hoped for. i often get drips when crossing the street but this is typical for bluetooth devices in cities due to the flooding of these frequencies but more noticeable on them compared to others i have also tried when they have no sound they glow blue ( presumably so you can find them when they're not in your ear?), but they don't switch off automatically after a short time like other headphones. I suspect they didn't want to include a mechanism to wake them up when the sound resumes, but that's a bummer of the compromise and I really don't like how they glow (pulsate and draw attention).

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
