AMBIENT MODE AND ACTIVE NOISE REDUCTION - Fully adjustable Ambient Mode lets you control how much surrounding noise is let into your ears so you can stay aware of what’s going on around you, or make quick conversations without removing your earbuds. Our Active Noise Reduction uses a feedforward microphone in each earbud to reduce noise coming from your surroundings--perfect for times when you want to stay focused; double tap to activate, or adjust the settings via the Creative app. 40 HOURS TOTAL PLAYTIME AND WIRELESS CHARGING ENABLED - Lasting up to 10 hours per charge and 40 hours in total with its charging case, Creative Outlier Air V3’s battery life certainly tops the series. The charging case is also wireless charging enabled and Qi-compatible, so you can place them on your existing charging pad to recharge, or plug it into the USB-C cable we’ve provided to recharge the Creative Outlier Air V3 as per normal. QUAD MICS WITH DUAL-VOICE AND VOICE ASSISTANTS - Sound clearer to others over calls and easily command your preferred voice assistants without having to raise your voice. Creative Outlier Air V3 features a total of four microphones, with two mics on each earbud, for better voice pickup. Dual-voice call lets you pick up calls or command Siri / Google Assistant and hear from both earbuds. You can also use either earbud to do the same without having to reach for your mobile phone; just tap and talk. CUSTOMIZABLE INTUITIVE TOUCH CONTROL ON CREATIVE APP - The touch sensors on Creative Outlier Air V3 react intuitively to activate your tap commands for effortless playback and calls control at all times. Don’t worry if you can’t remember the controls out of the box, they are customizable via our Creative app; assign your preferred functions to the controls--whether it is a double tap, triple tap, or a long tap to skip tracks, adjust volume levels, or to activate the voice assistants. UPGRADED BLUETOOTH 5.2 WITH 6MM BIO-CELLULOSE DRIVERS - Expect better reliability with Bluetooth 5.2 connection and enjoy smoother and uninterrupted audio. The improved 6mm Bio-cellulose drivers, along with the AAC and SBC audio codecs, drive excellent audio reproduction for detailed highs, well-balanced mids, and immersive bass. Plus, Creative Outlier Air V3 is also IPX5-certified water-resistant and sweatproof so you won’t have issues keeping your adrenaline pumping with your workout playlist.

The sound is excellent but I must have gotten a bad pair. can hear your surroundings. Two major issues prompted me to return the pair. When working at my desk, with my iPhone directly in front of me less than 2 feet, the Bluetooth connection would sometimes drop and flicker. I thought it was just an accident but it happened several times in different places. Sometimes the earbuds turn off when placed in the charging case. The music will continue to play when the case is closed.

Pros
  • auto-off is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • . Almost everything is there.

So here is my experience. Communication worked reliably through walls and the like. I recently read on a tech site that previous issues have been fixed, but it's difficult to find every pair in a stack that had connection issues, so thought I'd give it a try. The gasket they make is amazing at first because it creates suction (you get used to it and learn how to put it on and take it off) so the soundproofing is really good. They sound good with no distortion at high volumes. There's actually…

FABULOUS! Great sound, comfort and battery life - WOW!

I've tried several cheaper Bluetooth earbuds only to be disappointed in some ways, particularly in terms of connectivity and reliability. Some sounded pretty good but dropped the audio for a moment or split up from each other. So far not only have they been rock solid, they sounded fantastic too! Good bass if not the deepest (ala Beats) and excellent mids and highs. "Plus: Great sound, strong bass, clear mids and clear highs. 10 hour battery life in its class (for the same small size)…

GOLD VERSION - Return it

- GOLD VERSION - I really wanted to love it but I'm coming back because: 1. The LED ring looks so stupid and only turns off when a song is playing or watching a video. It stays on while you are on the call. I felt like an alien walking around with blinking blue LED earrings.2. They hurt after a few hours, too painful to hold, so long battery life is pointless. The tips of the ears also hurt, they are too short.3. I couldn't figure out how to separate the headphones from the case so the battery…

Transcript of the support email I received regarding Amazon's 30 day return policy. I will cancel this negative review as soon as a pair is sent to me without defects. "1.) Does this problem occur when the left earbud is set as the main earbud or the secondary earbud? The main earbud is the first earbud taken out from the charging case and connected to the Bluetooth device. Answer: I couldn't The audio doesn't work when the right ear but the left earbud is switched as primary, I even removed…

Great sound but not durable

UPDATE: After almost a year of owning these headphones, the plastic button on one of the headphones has come loose. I was able to glue it in place but I'm not sure the repair will last long. I still love the sound of these headphones but considering I've already had to return them twice I'm reducing my rating from 5 to 3 stars for the worst sound quality or battery life compared to regular Bluetooth headphones. After using the Creative Outlier Air for a week I'm not sure if this is the case. I…

I love them but they're not perfect

I've always been a Creative fan and wanted to get a pair of true wireless earbuds but didn't want to spend more than $100. I bought them and am happy but they are not perfect. let me explain. I recently took them on a business trip for a 6 hour plane trip, walking around Oakland, California and for general use only. That's how they flowed. They're comfortable, but not for prolonged listening, at least to my ears. The art lying next to my ear canal starts to hurt after a few hours. I can easily…

updated: left earbud died after 1.5 months

Update 09/21/2019 I have continued to use the right earbud occasionally for phone calls. it fell apart (see picture) - quality is mostly abysmal - both headphones died after less than 2 months of use. Update 2019.09.10 left earbud started disconnecting (not like bluetooth) and then stopped making noise altogether. still connecting and glowing blue (and stopping when music is playing) but no sound. - original review - man - all the hype around it - was perfect for the sound - for $80 you get…

Serious company, great sound, secure fit

Update (6-1-20): Thought I'd throw the update away after 11 months of use. Pixel Buds just came out and people are complaining about the same issues they are having. Micro cutouts absolutely happen to them, but not often. I ride my bike 15-30 miles and only wear one earbud the whole time. I keep my phone in my bike bag with the main handset closest to my ear. In most cases I never had clippings, only once in 11 months did I have so many clippings that I found them unusable. I still think these…
