This case is very tough. The plastic used is very ridged and you can just feel the quality. The latches are easy to open and close. They have incorporated a push button lock to the latch for extra security. Everything about this case seems great except the waterproof feature. The latches, though they are easy to manipulate, don't seem to close the lid very tight. I'm afraid it doesn't close tight enough to engage the water proof gasket. The lubricant is the best we’ve ever used. The only problem is when you use the pump it doesn’t come out of the nozzle, but instead seeps out of the top of the bottle. I have not put this to use yet but inspected, pulled, and installed in my CRV after receiving. The strapping seems very durable- hopefully it withstands my chewy GSD. I was a bit skeptical of the elastic when ordering but let me tell you- this stuff is industrial strength. I pulled as hard as I could and it did give, but did not stretch as easily as I thought it would, which is a good thing. Got this bag for a trip where I had to pack items on a hanger but the bag has to be assembled so the zippers do not fully close leaving gaps on the end for stuff to get wet or someone to put a hand inside. Defeats the purpose of the outside being waterproof, imo. I wouldn't recommend it for travel where the bag would be out of your possession.
