Review on Monoprice Blackbird 4K 4x1 HDMI Switch with Audio Extractor - Black, HDR, 18Gbps Refresh Rates, YUV 4:4:4 by Ronald Lunn

I bought another HDMI switch based on the reviews on Revain's product page, it was a Chinese brand. When using the TV's volume remote control, the inputs are switched. This was unacceptable and rendered the box unusable. Support was email only and the company representative was rude and condescending when addressing owners who had left bad reviews. When I saw a representative of your company respond to the review, I regretted dealing with such a company. I've always had good luck with Monoprice products and this transition was another. Fully compatible with all my home theater remotes and performs excellently. Although this product is made in China, Monoprice is an American company with good product support. This switch costs more than other Chinese companies, but you get what you pay for. It's compatible with other hardware and doesn't have the super bright LEDs found in other boxes. In fact, you can't even see the LEDs as they shine through the black faceplate of the junction box. Still, they're dark, as they should be so as not to distract from the TV program you're watching, but bright enough to see the selected input. Great switch. I've noticed the switch went up another $10, which is kinda cool since this switch doubles the price of most others sold at Revain. If you come back at a cheaper price, it becomes more competitive.
