Adjustable color in K and brightness is a big reason to buy these instead of fixed brightness LEDs. The metal housing with plug-in cable connection is also well made. Three disadvantages to install compared to other similar solid plastic box from K. The biggest problem is that the flange width is narrow and the seal is weak. If you cut even one slightly wrong hole, it will show. Second, the spring clips are too small and the plastic caps fall off. The cross-section of the spring wire is also small. It cuts into the rock making it difficult to remove. After all, this is the connection between the lamp and the transformer converter. The plastic is soft and the alignment mold is small and easy to slide. The thread is too tight for such a soft plastic. If they made these improvements, especially the flange width, this would be a 6 star product and I would buy it for any project that requires 6" LED lighting.
