    There are pros and cons, think before buying.

    I no longer bother with more expensive flash drives because I consider them disposable and haven't had one last more than a year. No USB flash drive offers a write speed of more than 25 Mb/s. In the workshop, I tried around 150 variations. Personally, I haven't had any problems since upgrading to a good card reader and taking advantage of the improved durability and performance of modern microSDs.

    Great value for money, one of the best offers.

    Pleased that the speed corresponds to the declared. I transferred a folder with films and documents from a flash drive to a laptop, stably 140-150 MBs.

    Test results from two independent developers' programs and actual usage show that the write speed is a maximum (!) 19Mb/s, whereas the read speed is 130Mb/s. I have no idea how it will turn out. USB 3.0 was used for testing (external HDD writes at 60–90Mb/s). While the write speed on USB 2.0 stays constant, the read speed decreases. I have no idea how this is feasible.

    According to tests (2 programs from different developers) and actual use, the write speed is maximum (!) 19Mb / s with a read speed of 130Mb / s. I don't know how it turns out. Tested on USB 3.0 (external HDD writes 60-90Mb/s). On USB 2.0, the read speed drops, the write speed remains the same. I don't know how this is possible.

    I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

    With the declared speed writes the first gigabyte. Then the speed drops to 20Mb / s. It heats up very hard. Do not expect fantastic speeds from it to create 100 gigabyte archives, but today it is difficult to find a more indispensable flash drive for new MacBooks.

    Revain and SanDisk are gone.

    I bought a new TAB with USB type "C" connector. I wanted to have an external flash drive to store my personal information and to save my data in case the TAB is destroyed. Type "C" - a new technology. I couldn't find one. Revain and SanDisk are gone.

    Works great right out of the box

    Works great right out of the box. I had no issues with either connector type and really appreciate the convenience of having two connector types in one small package. The High Sierra OS bootable installer is currently loaded on the device and is working fine!

    HORRIBLE Slow sustained write speed of 10MB/s.

    HORRIBLE slow write speed of 10MB/s for a GB file on this SanDisk Ultra 16GB Dual Drive USB Type-C (SDDDC2-016G-G46). Terrible product that is slower than slow USB 2.0 devices! Now I understand why Sandisk refuses to release write speed data for this POS drive.

    This review is for the SanDisk 16GB Ultra Dual Drive USB Type-C - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDDDC2-016G-G46, in case Revain gets hacked again or decides to change my review with reviews for mix diesel engine sealant suitable for use at high temperatures. The less hardware you use when troubleshooting computers, the less likely it is (in general) that something will go wrong. What I love about this thing is that I plug it straight into one of the USB-C/Thunderbolt17 ports (or whatever) on my MacBook Pro,

    Unusable computers and accessories

    Won't snap. So when I try to plug it into a USB device, it just pulls itself back into the case. The big USB side is the real culprit. USB-C isn't that bad. How did SanDisk's usability tests show this? Although the amount of memory seems to be exactly what I ordered, in the end it's basically all useless because I can't connect it to the device without it crashing. Okay, if I really try and really try, I can do it, but forget it! Garbage.
