Update: SO I JUST ORDERED A REPLACEMENT FOR THE ONE THAT WAS BROKEN AFTER A FEW MONTHS. and he came BROKEN. Batteries cannot be inserted because the pins are not inserted correctly or are not shaped correctly. It just arrived today and I immediately went online to return it only to find that they do not accept returns. That's why they send you broken remotes and don't allow returns. In my opinion, this is shady business! The remote control is fine, but our last one had backlit buttons. This is not the case, making it difficult to use when watching movies at night. The reason I only gave it 3 starts is because it broke and after only 2 months started to shorten.
