Review on Ristake Memorial Necklace: Stainless Steel Cremation Jewelry for Ashes by Sam Bell

Happy review for a sad reason.

This necklace was commissioned for a teenage daughter who had just said goodbye to the dog she grew up with. We got this for her because she's the type of guy who doesn't feel scared when her dog's ashes are in a necklace. In fact, she will appreciate it very much. We will give this to her after the ashes arrive at the vet clinic. I read the reviews and I think whoever got upset got a broken necklace. Ours works great, it's secure and hasn't had any issues. I posted many photos. The necklace is packed in a small blue box. There is a thank you note at the top of the box. Behind it is a funnel. Don't forget to check there. Remove the necklace while it's in the holder and you'll find a silver long pin that will help you pack the ashes. The chain appears much larger in the picture, so if you want it to be a bit more understated, the smaller side is perfect. I was afraid it would be a big piece, but no. That's good. The rhinestone embellishment is subtle and feels securely in place. I think it will be difficult to load the ash, but that is due to the size. Obviously you're trying to pour the ashes out of the plastic bag into a funnel that turns into a small pipe. This requires some patience and a slow and steady hand. I am very happy with this order. Actually, I'm going to buy one. I think it's a really good way to remember something special and hold it in your heart.

Pros
  • The top came off and after a couple of weeks I lost the top hat. When replacing I add glue as I rotate.
Cons
  • Beautiful necklace. The engraving was small. The stone is chiseled and not visible when worn.
