Review on 🔌 Starkey Products Fog Light Wiring Adapters H16 to Deutsch Set - Compatible with 2504, 5202, 9009 and PSX24W Bulb Connectors by Chris Cruz

I bought these to convert my factory fog lights into a hard fog light set without having to cut and splice. These are not Toyota style H16 plugs (Japanese Type 2). This is the original (American) H16/5202 connector. The Toyota factory styling is an elongated oval shape with a bar/divider in the middle. These H16/5202 are rectangular with no spacers. The photo shows a factory H16 Toyota Tundra fog lamp and on the right is the 5202 adapter that I received in the mail. a mis-rating of the product and that Toyota mislabeled its connectors and bulbs. So mislead everyone why stay away from them and buy other "fake products". So here are a few more photos to explain how and why they are different. 1st picture: Toyota factory fog lights and Starkey 5202 (H16) connector. According to Starkey's email, Toyota miscaptioned this third picture: Factory Toyota H16 Bulb and H16 Plug. Note the center slit and rib at the center of each item. Note that they are about 2/3 the length of each. Starkey also states that Toyota mislabeled the connectors. Note that the H11 has a central ridge and slot that is only about 2mm long. Next to them is a factory H16 fog lamp, again note the center bump. See how much larger it is than the H11 center slot or recess. They just don't connect without modification. Please note that some H11 sockets fit Toyota H16 (v2) factory plugs. As the slit and burrs are usually not important for the opposite reasons mentioned above.
