I started using Prolong grease decades ago. I've seen their ads on TV where they drove a red sports car around the track with no oil in the crankcase and nothing bad happened to the car. I placed my first order for Prolong. About a month after I received my order, I drilled a few holes in a .025" diameter steel plate in my home workshop. As expected, the steel soon began to heat up very quickly. I looked around the store for oil that could be used for cooling and the first thing I saw was Prolong. I put a few drops of Prolong on the steel plate and started drilling again. This time, no matter how hard I pushed down on the drill, the drill wouldn't bite or cut through the steel. I had to wash away all traces of Prolong before I could continue drilling. Since then I've been using Prolong in my vehicles and all projects in the clubs. If you have something mechanical that needs lubrication you will love this stuff.
