They're not bad, but they're not great
They arrived chipped and stained. The smell of pottery is overpowering, and the texture is dry and grainy, like chalk. If you're sensitive to textures, stay away from these coasters. The bracket supplied is too small, so they have probably been damaged. On the other hand they are very beautiful except for the broken parts. Haven't had a chance to use them yet so can't comment on absorbency yet.
