Over the years I have had many high quality keyboards. At work I use a Corsair K95 with red switches and a couple of the LEDs have stopped working, but I really like the Cherry MX on this one. Just recently my daughter spilled some liquid on my Razer keyboard and several keys stopped working even after I took it apart, dried it and tried to salvage it, so I settled on this one. My Razer had brown switches, which I like, but this new K68 is said to have Cherry MX switches. They are very soft and don't have a satisfying click so I often find I don't press a key hard enough to register it because they have a very high resistance and there is no fixed drop point by which you can know that your shot will be registered. . My second complaint is the software. The Razer software is much better at button mapping and color customization. I struggled for about half an hour until I finally got the colors I wanted. This is also the second Amazon has sent me, the first one came and looked like it had been bumped with a forklift, it was bent in half and they still sent it that way lol. The shipping box was fine so I know Amazon made it. I'm seriously considering returning it, I don't like the keystroke that much. Other reviews were positive, I may have gotten a second bug but I doubt it. I think it's just not the Cherry switches they used for it.
