Not only is it insanely bright, it's functional!

First off I want to say that many people have mentioned in other reviews that the same things that make a keyboard spill resistant also negatively affect the mechanical aspects of the keyboard. I personally don't think it's flashy enough to matter, but that's just me. I've been using this keyboard since its launch and so far almost constantly and I have to say that it's not very comfortable for long periods of time. The keyboard comes with a sloped palm rest that attaches fairly easily and that

Good keyboard with a few limitations. this COULD be great.

Pros: - Linear keys require a low actuation force, which is comfortable and allows for quick and accurate keystrokes - The palm rest has a good width and perfectly matches the height of the keyboard. The pressure is very pleasant. Flexible lighting options with full RGB lighting (if required). Cons: The keys are supposed to be "quiet," but many of them, especially the spacebar, actually have a distinct metallic spring sound and linger/echo when you release the keys. It's actually veryโ€ฆ

Unhappy with switches or software

Over the years I have had many high quality keyboards. At work I use a Corsair K95 with red switches and a couple of the LEDs have stopped working, but I really like the Cherry MX on this one. Just recently my daughter spilled some liquid on my Razer keyboard and several keys stopped working even after I took it apart, dried it and tried to salvage it, so I settled on this one. My Razer had brown switches, which I like, but this new K68 is said to have Cherry MX switches. They are very soft and

How can a keyboard be so bad?

This keyboard is just terrible. And this is coming from a person who has used a Chinese keyboard before. However, let's start with an open mind. The first impression is a good, heavy, beautiful keyboard. feels strong; but don't let the weight fool you. The legs give it nice tilt, but if you tap too hard with that perfect tilt, you'll lose it when the force you're tapping with causes it to break. I dropped my Hyperx Cloud 2 on it from about 6 inches when I was about to do something and sureโ€ฆ

A solid device completely ruined by the software that controls it

My experience with the K95 Platinum keyboard makes me embarrassed to buy any other Corsair product. I bought this keyboard because I wanted a quieter keyboard to type on (the K95 is a terribly loud, clicking monster). It's quieter in that regard, but a far cry from the "quiet whisper" mentioned in its PR description. qualitative. The only thing I would like to note is that when I type (I bought the cherry red variant) there is a high pitched spring squeak. It's very distracting and annoyingโ€ฆ

  • Worth the money

  • Some flaws
