We're improving our home art game! Each week my kids have a new art challenge to do, so I'm always looking for fun, new ways to experiment with them. As a watercolor painter, I want them to love the colors, but there aren't any yet. This is a great introduction to watercolor painting with lots of control for little hands! My 9 year old son was delighted when he saw them, I think his teacher had them last year and was delighted when they used them. This morning we experimented with shading and blending on feathers and they loved it once they got the hang of it. They require a lot of paint to blend smoothly, and the blending needs to be done almost instantly or you'll end up with harsh lines. but overall a fun addition to our art supplies!
