USE - Mobile Multi-Camera Switching / Recording / Live Streaming!

Bought Mars 300 Pro (reinforced with antennas) in the description it says 300' but in other places it says 400' to the transmitter 300' to the west. Either great! This review focuses on the quality of the recording, which few write about. Reliability will be revealed soon, but I don't see that as a problem. I will come back and update my review after May and June 2021 when I can. That will be my main time this year. 1.) My usage = live broadcast / streaming / recording. Basically I won't be using this primarily for live streaming, but to record live multicam switching using an ATEM Mini Pro with the highest Hyperdeck settings to record the same quality as the cards in our cameras - mine is on 70 Mbit/s set This saves me hours of editing those long multi-camera events! My clients are used to multi-cam video and expect it! 2.) History = I use 100ft HDMI cables with amps and they work great. The problem I have is where my breakout cart needs to be placed in relation to the wired cameras, it's limiting! We are mobile and install a typical video company in different locations. I've seen HDMI up to 300ft with fiber optic HDMI but it sounds tricky and for multiple mobile uses - can you count on it? Oh no! Another problem is that in theaters you have to run cables with tons of electrical tape and just spend too much time doing it. Time is money! When the performances are over, the theaters are ready for you to come out and tighten the wires, oh brother - it takes a lot of time and effort... We don't go to these places with more than 4 people and half of them are not very technically. . So this is another place where wireless will save us time and money. 3.) My decision was to try the Mars 300 pro video transmission system (due to the low price) to see if we could eliminate the need for cables and give me better placement options and save time and money. Preferably, I would like the car to be behind the stage. 4.) In my quick test, I thought they were great! Loss of quality is so minimal. There were dark areas in my fixed cable vs wireless comparison - it was a bit (barely perceptibly) noisy in wireless mode, and only where there was a total blackness/darkness that I can feel in the post can I Solve apply quick color correction. The average viewer won't even notice! Bright areas that are well lit are the same from 99.9% to 100%. The sound quality was very good, I didn't notice any difference for me. 5.) Delay? = Wired wireless network connection side by side. With the naked eye I viewed the multiview ATEM screen, one in the preview screen and the other in the program, with no noticeable lag. If so, I can't see it with the naked eye because it's more than a few frames away. 6.) Placement = use in theaters. My idea is to run the receivers in a theater or performing arts room to have a line of sight to the camera. When I need a breakout cart backstage, I then run solid HDMI cables from the receivers to the backstage breakout cart - very last minute! I've found some interference going long distances through walls, this can be a problem, especially in theaters and performing arts centers where you have walls made of firebrick or reinforced rebar. concrete walls. My plan for this setup is to unobtrusively mount the receivers to the side of the stage so that the three cameras are in sight or close enough. Then connect the HDMI cables from the receivers and run them back to the switch, no more than 30 feet. Even if you use a wired connection, you still save time with long cables and can place the cameras and the switch further apart. 7.) Easy to use! Easy to set up and understand. There's nothing more to say about that. Technically, with these cameras and battery powered cameras, you can make any camera 100% wireless, saving you a lot of setup time! Then if you need to move the camera for some reason, bad angle on the way, etc., you can move it and don't have to worry about being tied down! That alone is worth a lot! I'm impressed with the price I can get!
