In my 60's with a background as a photojournalist in the 1970's, this retro Nikon body brings back many great memories. For someone returning to serious photography after 30+ years in another profession, this is the perfect upgrade from the Nikon D5200 which I have been using for family photography for the past five years. The transition from DX format to full format is a great achievement. For the price, the benefits are worth every penny. Bought a body with a special edition 50mm f/1.8 lens. From my first random shots, the results amazed me. One of the main benefits of this housing is the ability to use any of your old Nikkor lenses from the 70's and earlier with a few simple adjustments. If you are serious about your photography, appreciate the nostalgia for the great Nikon F film body but are looking for all the advances in digital photography, then this is the body for you.
