Manual focus doesn't give fast illumination, but I don't use DF for sports and action. Color is great in both vivid and neutral, standard and portrait modes. Black and white are sharp and contrasting (depending on the quality of the lenses used, of course). The chassis is light, perhaps a little lighter than that of the D750. I would give this camera a perfect 5 stars apart from the fact that it doesn't hold up well. The pictures are fantastic and I have no problem with the picture quality as they are excellent. I also have a Nikon D4 and the shots are very similar in contrast, latitude, etc. My problem is the camera surface. I mainly shoot film and have a lot of manual Nikon prime lenses. So I wanted a camera that would work like a handheld camera. So before that I tried the X-Pro 2 and I really liked this camera.
