Most of my hiking socks have a light colored fabric that makes it impossible to go from warm with boots and black trousers to my dress shoes change jobs, and really, who doesn't appreciate a garment that serves a dual purpose? These are great socks. They have a good pile without excess bulk, and the elasticity and stretch provide a comfortable fit without excess looseness or compression. They can be washed well without significant changes and withstand subsequent wear and tear. The brand markings are on the toes - a good reminder for the brand owner to take care of them - doesn't make them an unintended billboard - well done for subtle branding. Great socks - highly recommend.
