Our lab mix seemed allergic to everything it was too itchy on other dry food. I ended up cooking her food from scratch, but it took me a long time to give her all the nutrients she needed. This product took a lot of that stress away and she didn't have any horrible reactions to it like vomiting or itching like she has with other dog foods. it's happening In extreme cases, humidification only takes 15 minutes. However, waiting for hydration is agony for my furry baby. She just sits and drools and waits for the timer to go off. I've found that the smaller pieces settle to the bottom of the bag and these small pieces seem to soak up water and make the food very thick. Therefore, the first dishes will be thick, and the last dishes will be thick. Not that my dog cares. She eats anything but gets dirty when it's soup. Now I shake it a little before scooping it out. Also, the chart is just a guide - my 50 lb dog got too skinny (as can be seen on the ribs) following their chart. She needs about 50% more. She also seems to poop a lot with this formula.
