I have this 55 inch flat screen TV in my bedroom which is over 20 years old. The TV is VERY heavy and this mount handles it with ease. I can easily turn the TV left and right or move it back and forth without tools. The movement is tight so it never moves by itself. It stays where I put it. Tilting the TV is a fixed position which I will require loosening and tightening the 2 nuts if I ever want to change it. This makes sense as I see no need to adjust the tilt once I have it set there, where I want them. The only downside I have with this mount is that the instructions are a bit vague, confusing and incomplete. There are parts that need to be assembled but don't tell how. There are parts that need to be fitted upside down and they don't give you a clue as to where it goes. You mention a screw which is important to have in the top position that I still have no idea which screw it is. But I'm pretty good at things and it works great. I didn't give a star for bad instructions as things often come with poor instructions. Just be prepared to scratch your head a little. In general, this mount did not disappoint me. It's durable, allows for easy adjustment to your desired position, and is a good price for a quality TV mount. I give this 5 stars!
