My favorite mascara (#7 Stay Perfect Long Lasting Volume) stays on very well and doesn't flake at all throughout the day. I would describe it as the formation of plastic tubes over each lash, so removing it can be a challenge. Applying micellar water to cotton pads pressed on the eyelids for about half a minute weakens the mascara's adhesion to the eyelashes without damaging the eyelashes themselves. The micellar water didn't irritate my overly picky, sensitive skin at all. I have a suggestion - keep your eyes shut tight because I can guarantee your sensitive eyes won't appreciate micellar water like your skin! The aroma is soft and pleasant. I definitely recommend it. Also, my grandfather's chin warts are gone, my grandmother's wrinkles are gone, my husband's feet have stopped smelling, and our kitten has been sleeping all night since I started using micellar water to gently remove mascara. None of this has anything to do with micellar water but thought I'd share. Hahaha!
