Just getting a new key is expensive and all programming has to be done at the dealer. Should have been my backup set but now the old set doesn't work anymore.

Still to be programmed by Jaguar $170 each. Less from the dealer if they do everything. Cutting costs $20 each and doesn't work without programming

I took the keys to a Jaguar dealership where I had to pay $200 to have them cut and then programmed. The service man said they CANNOT be programmed and will not work. You are not allowed to sell these

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and how well it works! I attached the top "key" component to the new base and connected it to my car and viola! The key fob turned my alarm on and off, locked and unlocked my doors, and the "key" started the engine! A win-win situation

The only issue I had with my original key was the key fob loops. The tabs were worn out and stopped working. All I had to do was take the key and chip from the old key and add it to the new fob. It had to be fixed and worked great. Saved me a lot of money. It was worth it.

I didn't like it. It arrived and the plastic part didn't seem to fit properly and when you pushed the button to pop the key out the key got stuck and the button pushed into the plastic. It was difficult to get it to work, if at all.

I love the product I bought. However, you should be aware that you will have to cut and program them at the dealer or locksmith. I was able to find a locksmith that would cut and program for $120. The fob is responsive and there is a slight "click" when the button is pressed, which I like. In addition, depending on the year/model, you can only save a certain number of keys. Still, for the price, I'm glad I bought this item

Well I had high hopes and the key is excellent quality. However, I have tried and tried to find an Aime locks or even a dealer who carves a key for my tine. Nobody could. I had to go to a Jag dealer and they said they had no luck with these keys bought online and would not touch them. I had to pay $1000 for a Jaguar to ship the Jaguar here in the States with the keys already cut so they could program it here with my car which I had to haul to the dealer. so much shit.
