These 240 LED lights were the best price I could find at the time. Other brands were cheaper but had fewer lights. They gave me the best bang for my buck. As advertised, you can join multiple strands into a long chain. All you have to do is remove the detachable 110V plug and replace it with another adapter so the ends of the cables can be connected together. Also, if you string in the air and then turn it on, all the threads will flash in the same pattern as soon as you select one of the eight options. My only negative comment is that I wish the default was "ALWAYS ON" when you first turn it on. The default is "RANDOM" when connecting for the first time. This means the lights toggle between all 8 options. However, this did not become an obstacle for me.
