I bought 3 as I'm juggling multiple laptop looks and wanted something sturdy, not the clunky HD weirdo I was using. These seemed great. Each also came with a USB-A to USB-C adapter, which I always miss, so that was great. Unfortunately for all 3 I had problems creating an image backup. Didn't work twice, had to be redone. And when I finally had what I thought was a decent image, it crashed in the middle of the machine image and the drive got corrupted and had to be reformatted, so I lost the image I made. All 3 failed repeatedly and had to be reformatted. I've been trying long formats and clearing them from the command line. There are no dice. Next failed. All three. I'm not going to waste time thinking this is a bad game. It's just a bad product. USB-C adapters were the only plus, but what's the use of an adapter if the SSD itself is defective?
