Does what it promises

I installed this antenna on the rear center peak of my Tundra and had a strong RF signal near the repeaters and everyone within 10 miles of the site boundary with lots of green trees and small hills drove 60 miles with no problem per hour, it is made for UHF and VHF 6 meters, will probably be bad SWR, peel off the paint, stick a 3 meter sticker on a clean spot, then put the antenna on it, press the pad fairly hard with only 2 fingers and pull the wire through, With an 8-watt Baofeng UV-5R, you can hit repeaters at a distance of 30 miles or more. Make sure you get your amateur radio license. Pay and get FRS family license for $70 and you can use it on many gsmr channels you need to pay. There are also 5 walkie-talkie channels you can use them on, although the power is a bit high. All this information about them is available online. Good luck this is KL5GI 73 you can pay and get a family FRS license for $70 and you can use it on multiple gsmr channels you need to pay.
