works. It's big enough for my thick neck and holds my thick head quite well. I even used it on the plane and fell asleep. I got it due to back problems but got a travel pillow as an added bonus. I have a memory foam travel pillow that was expensive and sucks. For this purpose it is much more convenient. All I wanted was to breathe better. I also wish it could be machine washed. However, it was cheap; in any case, they are not meant to last forever. I just throw it away when it smells bad.
