The insert for the headset seems fine. It's not free and inconvenient. It fits pretty well. As for the controller skins, the two small patches on the glasses are very thin. I just broke connecting this thing to a controller. Ankle straps are inexpensive. It probably won't be long. Although everything else is fine.
