I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Great device. I have been choosing an iMac for a long time. This version is optimal for lovers of silence. A weaker core i5 with a Radeon Pro 570 graphics card at the minimum configuration has the same heat dissipation as the current model, which means it makes no sense to take a slower model with the same heat dissipation. The other two versions of the Core i5 7600K and Core i7 7700K with the Radeon Pro 580 video card already have a different thermal package, which means that the devices heat up more and are significantly more expensive. Of the minuses, it is worth noting that the fan has a lower rpm threshold of 1200 per minute and can be heard in a quiet room. At the same time, given that this model will be colder than 2 other older options, this is an excessive indicator. The temperature during office work and surfing is in the region of 35-40 degrees. This means that the fan could be slowed down specifically in this model up to 1000 in idle time and the aimak would become silent. It is a pity that Apple engineers did not pay attention to this. Will buy - take with 8GB of RAM. with 16 GB costs about 20,000 more. After the purchase, just buy 1 8GB stick for 5000 and insert (memory is easily added, there is a cover on the back of the monoblock). You can also save a few TENS of thousands yourself to replace the processor with the one you need and the larger SSD, but for this you already need to disassemble and lose the warranty. In principle, this performance will last for several years.

Pros
  • stunning retina display works quietly very smart
Cons
  • the fan at minimum speed is audible, it could be done more slowly
