I was a bit taken aback by the packaging which was a velvet trinket pouch with the company name in a plastic bag but it was cheap and the odd packaging was deceiving. This is a solid and solid pocket watch that is easy to read in fairly well-lit areas, but is worse without good lighting. There's a blue light on the watch, which is good to use to see keys and a lock, for example, but it doesn't illuminate the dial. The clip that attaches the watch to the belt loop is durable and lightweight. to attach and remove. The only surprise I had with this watch, as seen in the second picture, was the plastic clip on the crown. It took me a while to figure out that there was plastic there and it was holding the crown in the 'installed' position. I thought it was a watch malfunction as I could not screw the crown back into the locked position and the time changed when the crown was touched. I finally figured it out and am sharing it with others so you can avoid the same frustration I experienced. All in all, this is a good watch to wear on a belt loop if you don't like wearing a watch on your wrist. . The only downside is that the clock is difficult to read in a poorly lit room. The package included an extra watch battery.
